Model deprecations

Each tracker is a table from that vendor’s deprecation or retirement page, checked 22 October 2026. A blank cell means the page did not print that field. Replacements are the names the vendor printed, not a FrontierDot recommendation.

• OpenAI

  158 rows from the official table. Shutdown dates and replacements copied from the OpenAI API deprecations page, including the notice periods that page states.

• Anthropic

  21 rows from the official table. Claude API retirement dates and recommended replacements from Anthropic’s model deprecations page. Partner platforms set their own dates.

• Google Gemini API

  86 rows from the official table. Shutdown dates from the Gemini API deprecations table. The page calls them the earliest possible dates, and many rows have no date announced.

• AWS Bedrock

  53 rows from the official table. Legacy-date and EOL-date rows from the Amazon Bedrock legacy model lifecycle page. The current lifecycle page does not name a replacement.

• Azure OpenAI

  156 rows from the official table. Retirement dates and suggested replacements from the Microsoft Foundry model retirement schedule. Rows with no retirement date are omitted.
